Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Parolu app and this website, provided by OrthoClear (“we”). By using Parolu you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use Parolu

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and email account secure.

2. The service

Parolu helps you practise languages through conversations with an AI coach, corrections, word reviews and lessons. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable.

3. AI-generated content

The coach, its voice and its feedback are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be wrong, incomplete or unnatural. Parolu is a learning aid, not professional advice (for example legal, medical or official translation). Use your own judgement.

4. Subscriptions and trial

• Some features require a paid subscription, bought through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, the subscription starts and is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy and the consumer laws that apply to you.
• Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Parolu to break the law, harass others, try to generate harmful content, get around usage limits, or attack, copy or reverse engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Your content

You keep the rights to what you write and say. You allow us to process it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy. The app, its content, the Parolu name, logo and the character Polu belong to us.

7. Ending

You can stop using Parolu and delete your account at any time. We may end access if you seriously breach these terms.

8. Liability

Parolu is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for results of relying on AI content. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
